Why PerfeFilm need to confirm your camera model

PerfeFilm is a Lightroom profile software that can accurately simulate the color of popular digital cameras and traditional films. In order to achieve consistent color restoration simulations from your camera to the target camera/film, PerfeFilm needs to produce a unique color profile for each camera model of your raw file. Therefore, when you purchase a PerfeFilm profile, you will need to provide your camera model in order to get the best color calculation results.
1. Update to the latest Adobe Camera Raw version

If you are using a new coming camera, it may not be supported yet. Please check the following URL to confirm that the current version of Camera Raw supports the new camera you purchased: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
2. Use PhotoShop + Camera Raw to view the camera model
- Open raw file with Photoshop
- In the Camera Raw editing section, you can see the current camera model used for the raw file at the top.

3. Use Lightroom Classic to view the camera model
- Open a raw file with Lightroom Classic
- Library tag - Metadata tag - Default - Model
If the Model is not displayed, please click the "Customize" button.
Find Camera Info - check "Model" - Done
4. Use Lightroom CC to view the camera model
- Click on View - Info, and you will see it in the Info section.
